  • When do I need to RSVP by?
    We kindly ask that you RSVP as soon as you can to help us with our planning. The final deadline to RSVP is 25 August 2025. If we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend—though we’ll miss you!
  • Can I bring a guest?
    As we’re having a very intimate wedding, we’re only able to accommodate guests who are formally named on the invitation. We truly appreciate your understanding. If you’re unsure whether your partner is included, feel free to reach out - we’re happy to clarify.
  • What is the dress code?
    The dress code for this event is Black Tie. We ask that you all come looking your best! For men: Tuxedo or black suit with white shirt and black bow tie. For women: A dress, coordinated two-piece or suit. While floor length is typical "Black Tie", we're perfectly fine with shorter dresses as long as they're of a formal cut and fabrication. Still confused? We've found an article from Vogue that will hopefully help! Otherwise, please reach out to Teal.
  • What time should I arrive to the ceremony?
    Please arrive at 2:00pm for a 2:30pm ceremony start. If all goes to plan (and our very Type A bride is hoping it will!), Teal will walk down the aisle at 2:30pm. We kindly ask that you do not arrive prior to 2:00pm, as our wonderful vendors may still be putting the final touches in place.
  • Where in the hotel is the ceremony?
    The ceremony will be held in the courtyard at the Intercontinental Double Bay. If you’re unsure where to go upon arrival, simply head into the hotel and ask at reception—they’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
  • Is the ceremony indoors or outdoors?
    Weather permitting, our ceremony will be held outdoors. Teal will be wearing sunscreen under all that makeup (and is crossing her fingers that Brody remembers to wear his too!). Let’s hope the weather is on our side!
  • Will there be a transfer to the reception venue?
    There won’t be a group transfer provided to the reception venue. But don’t worry - we’ve got some fun suggestions to help you fill the time. We suggest enjoying a drink at one of Double Bay’s local bars after the ceremony, then either taking an Uber or walking to Edgecliff Station to make your way to Capella Sydney by 6:00pm. Alternatively, head into the CBD, visit one of our favourite nearby bars, and take a short walk to Capella when the time comes. To make your planning easier, we'll be putting together a list of our fav bars along the way - stay tuned!
  • What if I have dietary requirements?
    Please be sure to include any dietary requirements when you RSVP. If you happen to forget, feel free to text or call Teal at 0403 323 776, and she’ll be happy to update your details.
